Paul Braun began serving as the play-by-play announcer for Wisconsin men’s hockey in 1973, with the Badgers fresh off their first national championship under head coach Bob Johnson. Over the next four decades, he had the opportunity to call five more title-winning teams for radio and television while establishing himself as a defining voice in Wisconsin sports broadcasting.

Braun, an inductee into the Wisconsin Hockey and Wisconsin Broadcasters Association halls of fame, sat down with Mike Heller in the latest Badger Connect Podcast to discuss stories from his career and more. Check out the full video here:
