Paul Braun began serving as the play-by-play announcer for Wisconsin men’s hockey in 1973, with the Badgers fresh off their first national championship under head coach Bob Johnson. Over the next four decades, he had the opportunity to call five more title-winning teams for radio and television while establishing himself as a defining voice in Wisconsin sports broadcasting.
