Lauren Carlini and Sydney Hilley are not only two of the best setters in college volleyball history. They also occupied the starting role at Wisconsin during an eight-year stretch of tremendous success under Kelly Sheffield, the first four with Carlini and the next four with Hilley.
During that time, from 2013-2021, they collectively earned eight All-American honors, with three first-team awards apiece. They combined for five Big Ten Setter of the Year honors and helped establish and maintain a standard of excellent for Badgers players that followed.
