Safety Matt Jung and wide receiver Chris Brooks Jr. took much different paths to reach their senior seasons at Wisconsin. Jung arrived in Madison last year by way of Bethel University, where he earned Division III first-team All-American honors. Brooks Jr. chose Wisconsin 4 1/2 years ago after flipping his commitment from Yale and has bided his time for a breakout opportunity.
Both players are among the key leaders for Wisconsin entering this season. They represented the Badgers this week, along with outside linebacker Sebastian Cheeks, at Big Ten media days in Chicago. And their expectations are to help restore pride to Wisconsin before their careers end.
