Will Garlock and Zach Kinziger crossed paths on the basketball court well before they knew they would someday become teammates at Wisconsin. As Garlock recalls, someone snapped a photo of them in junior high school competing at an AAU event in the Green Bay area.  

“We kind of knew of each other,” Kinziger said. “But we never really were like good buddies or friends until we both committed and then got to play a little bit more together and got to hang out with each other.”

The two talented in-state products, now roommates, are part of a core group of returning players ahead of Wisconsin’s 2026-27 season. And they are expected to be bigger contributors as sophomores.
