Why We Started Badger Connect
We wanted to create a product that actually feels like it was made for the fans, not just around them. This is our way of giving everyday Badger supporters a real chance to get closer to the teams they love while helping the teams build.
When you join, you get access to awesome giveaways, exclusive content from Jesse Temple and behind-the-scenes experiences you’d never get otherwise. And the best part? Your membership directly helps support the sports you choose.
We’re fired up about where this can go, but we want your help shaping it. If you love it, tell us. If something could be better, let us know. We’re building this with Badger fans, for Badger fans.

Are you replacing The Varsity Collective?
No. The Varsity Collective still exists and is a different entity. We applaud their work, but Badger Connect is all about producing great content and fan experiences.
Is Badger Connect affiliated with the University of Wisconsin?
We are not directly affiliated with the University, but we are a proud sponsor partner.
How much of my fees go toward supporting UW athletics?
Our operating costs are covered through our corporate sponsorships. All individual membership revenue goes directly to supporting the sports of your choosing.
Are my fees tax deductible?
Badger Connect is NOT a charitable organization, and any membership is not tax deductible. Corporate sponsors should contact their tax advisor as to the deductibility of their sponsorship as a marketing expense.
How do the giveaways work?
If you’re a Pro or Elite member, you’re automatically entered into our monthly giveaways based on the sport(s) you selected during sign-up. Each month, we roll out new VIP experiences — from game tickets and signed gear to exclusive events and once-in-a-lifetime trips. There’s nothing extra you need to do. Starter members are not eligible for giveaways but still receive access to all of our exclusive content.
How will I know if I win a giveaway?
Winners are notified by email and announced on our member dashboard and social channels. Be sure to add our e-mail [email protected] so you don’t miss a notification!
Do I have to be in Wisconsin to join or win?
Nope! Badger fans across the country are welcome. Many giveaways include travel perks, and digital content is accessible from anywhere.
How do I RSVP for member events?
You’ll receive invitations via email and/or your member dashboard. Some events have limited space, so RSVP early when they go live.
